Daqiang Yuan's indexed work centers on the design and synthesis of porous crystalline materials for gas storage, separation, and capture. His most-cited first-author contributions include an isoreticular series of metal–organic frameworks built from dendritic hexacarboxylate ligands, which showed exceptionally high gas uptake, and highly stable porous polymer networks with exceptional gas-uptake capacities. As a senior author, his focus has extended to carbon dioxide capture in amorphous porous organic polymers, alongside later work on reticular chemistry in the construction of porous organic cages and efficient ethylene purification using a robust ethane-trapping porous organic cage. Beyond these lead-author lines, Yuan contributed to the design of metal–organic frameworks with nanoscopic cages for high methane uptake and to stable MOFs containing single-molecule traps for enzyme encapsulation, both reflecting middle-author roles in broader collaborative efforts. His earlier work also includes a nonlinear optically active tubular coordination network based on two distinct homo-chiral helices. No software, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed beyond his publications. Taken together, the named works trace a consistent arc from framework topology and ligand design toward porous organic cages and sustainable, application-driven synthesis.
