Claire Glenton's indexed work centers on qualitative evidence synthesis and its integration into health guideline development. Her most-cited lead-author contributions include a methodological study of sample-size reporting in focus group research, which remains widely cited for its critique of transparency in qualitative methods, and the GRADE-CERQual approach to assessing adequacy of data within qualitative evidence syntheses. A parallel strand examines community health workers directly, including decision makers' perceptions of volunteerism and payment incentives in Nepal's female community health volunteer programme and the roles and tasks of community health workers at the dawn of a new era. Beyond these, Glenton contributed as a middle author to the GRADE-CERQual introduction to the series and to the GRADE Evidence to Decision frameworks for making well informed healthcare choices, both of which helped embed qualitative and structured-judgment approaches in guideline processes. Her earlier work on lay health workers in primary and community health care for maternal and child health and on barriers and facilitators to healthcare workers' adherence with infection prevention and control guidelines reflects a sustained concern with how evidence informs frontline practice. No software, datasets, or patents are indexed alongside these publications. Across the listed works, the through-line is a methodological commitment to making qualitative and community-health evidence usable in policy and guideline decisions.
