Bo Chen's indexed work centers on end-to-end learnable geometric vision, notably a framework that backpropagates PnP optimization through a network (107 citations), alongside hierarchical convolutional factor analysis for deep learning (97 citations). A parallel thread applies deep and statistical models to language, as in semantic graph generation for semantic parsing (69 citations), while his senior-author contributions address radar and remote sensing, including noise-robust motion compensation for ISAR imaging of maneuvering targets (65 citations) and attitude and size estimation of satellite targets from ISAR imagery. Beyond these, he contributed as a middle author to MobileNetV3 architecture search and to deep ranking for fine-grained image similarity, and to MorphNet, a resource-constrained structure-learning method. His earlier work includes deep networks for radar HRRP target recognition and prior knowledge-based multibeam power allocation for cognitive target tracking. No software, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed beyond publications. The arc runs from kernel optimization and hierarchical factor analysis through end-to-end geometric and semantic learning to applied radar and remote-sensing inference, with collaborators such as Bo Chen's co-authors reflected across these themes.
