Andreas F. Molisch's most-cited lead-author work centers on ultrawideband propagation channel measurement, theory, and standardization, spanning statistical indoor models and standardized PAN channel models that underpin UWB system design and simulation. A parallel thread addresses antenna selection in MIMO systems, including capacity analyses and survey treatments of hybrid beamforming architectures for massive MIMO. He has also contributed to wireless edge caching, with senior-author work on fundamental limits of caching in device-to-device networks. Earlier and middle-author contributions extend this range: he co-authored highly cited overviews of 5G standards, trials, and deployment practice and of 6G vision, requirements, and challenges, as well as work on ultra-wideband localization for sensor networks. No software tools, datasets, patents, or grants are indexed beyond these publications. Across the listed works, the through-line is a sustained movement between propagation measurement and modeling and the system-level design questions—MIMO, caching, and next-generation networks—those models enable.
