Amit Bar-Or's indexed work centers on the immunology of multiple sclerosis, particularly the roles of B cells and T cells in disease pathogenesis and treatment response. His most-cited publication examines cellular and humoral immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccination in patients with multiple sclerosis receiving anti-CD20 therapy, a study that clarified how B-cell depletion shapes vaccine immunogenicity. Related work on Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitors for multiple sclerosis extends this B-cell-focused therapeutic line, while earlier papers on microglial involvement in multiple sclerosis and the possible contributions of T and B lymphocytes to neuroimmunopathogenesis reflect a long-standing interest in central nervous system inflammation. Additional indexed outputs include studies on blood neurofilament light as a predictor of non-relapsing progression following anti-CD20 therapy in relapsing and primary progressive multiple sclerosis, and on BTK inhibition limiting B-cell–T-cell interaction through modulation of B-cell metabolism. Contributions also address activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule in B lymphocyte migration across central nervous system barriers and cross-talk between B cells, microglia and macrophages in compartmentalized inflammation. No software, datasets, grants, or patents are indexed beyond these publications. Across these works, the through-line is a sustained focus on B-cell biology and its therapeutic modulation in multiple sclerosis.
